I have been experimenting with knitting with polyester yarn and then heat moulding the knitting. However, the yarn that I have found does,nt really have the qualities I am after (it is to soft and floppy) and I have found it impossible to get anyone to supply me with any other type of polyester yarn.Can anyone help me to get in touch with such a yarn supplier? ALSO Joy Boutrop mentions using a low temperature shrinking fabric to back polyester fabric as a way of heat moulding it. Can anyone help me to find out what that backing fabric might be? Thankyou.
